Tocmoche is a district in the province of Chota, Cajamarca, perched among the mountains. The guided visit covers its streets, its square and its shared spaces, leaving time to talk with local people.

It is not a town staged for tourism, and that is exactly what makes it good: you see life as it is, with neighbours at their doors, children playing in the square and the slow rhythm of the highlands.

At dusk, when the sun hits the slopes head on, is the best time to walk it. On the two-day package you sleep here, which lets you see it without rushing back.
